We've published an update on our latest plans and the responses we've received during our ten-week statutory consultation which closed at the end of 2018.

Update 21^st December 2018 - Consultation closed

The Lower Thames Crossing 2018 consultation closed at 23.59 on Thursday 20 December. All the consultation information and documentation remains on this website for your reference, but we are unable to accept any new consultation responses.

All of the issues raised during consultation will be taken into consideration as we continue develop the scheme.

If you would like to be added to our email list to be kept up to date with the project’s progress please send a request to info@lowerthamescrossing.co.uk. If you responded to the consultation and have already provided an email address, we will contact you automatically with updates.

We would like to hear your views on the Lower Thames Crossing, a proposed new motorway connecting Kent, Thurrock and Essex through a tunnel beneath the River Thames. This will provide much needed road capacity across the River Thames east of London, and transform journeys through the South East region and beyond.
