North East Regional Events

Overview

We’re holding several events in the North East area in September 2018. You’ll be able to talk to us, ask questions and have your say about the work we’re doing on the roads in your region.

Who will be at the events?

People from different areas of Highways England will be available to talk to. These include colleagues from:

• Major project teams - these are the people who carry out our major schemes for example, our A1 Scotswood to North Brunton scheme.
• Operations - these people maintain and improve your roads, such as resurfacing roads and replacing barriers.
• Traffic Officers - Traffic Officers patrol our roads and help to keep people safe and traffic flowing smoothly.
