National Highways East Regional Stakeholder Survey 2025

Closes 3 Apr 2025

Opened 6 Mar 2025

Overview

At National Highways, we are responsible for planning, designing, building, operating, and maintaining England’s motorways and major A-roads.

In our East region, our network spans over 600 miles, providing vital connections between key economic hubs, communities, and the rest of the country. Our roads link the bustling ports of the East Coast with major transport corridors such as the M25, M1, and A1, supporting businesses, commuters, and freight movement.

The strategic road network in the East is essential for keeping people and goods moving efficiently. It plays a crucial role in supporting regional growth, tourism, and access to employment opportunities while ensuring smoother and more reliable journeys. Through technology, enhanced infrastructure, and strategic upgrades, we aim to create a modern and resilient road network that meets the needs of drivers today and for the future.

Help us improve our motorways and A roads by better understanding your needs

We're carrying out a Regional Stakeholder Survey for our Major Projects Regional Investment Programme as we would like to hear your views on how we work and your experience of engaging with us, so we can continue to improve engagement throughout the East region.

Our 2025 Regional Stakeholder Survey will take about five minutes to complete and will help us understand what you think, what we are good at, what we need to improve, what your priorities are and what we need to consider in the future.

Anyone with an interest or who is impacted by our business can take part. We want to hear from a wide range of people – whether you use our roads or are impacted by them, such as living or working near them.

Your answers will be kept strictly confidential

Nobody outside National Highways will be able to know which answers you gave to our questions. We will not publish individual responses to this survey and contact information will only be retained so that we can contact you, if you grant us permission to do so however data will be used for research purposes only and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulations.
